The KPTA

The KPTA (Koputaroa Parent Teacher Association) is the main fundraising body for our school.  The KPTA is a dedicated association consisting of parents and staff rep. who donate their time organising and facilitating various events to fundraise money for the school. Funds raised are distributed to assist with the learning and teaching of our children.

The KPTA has a few traditional fundraisers that are highlights of the school calendar. These include: Annual Motorcycle Ride catering (January), Lincoln Billets, The Rabo Direct National Secondary Schools Cycling Competition (September), Koputaroa School Ag Day (November).  This year we shared the organisation of the ‘Behind the Hedges’ – Lifestyle property tour, with Te Takere.

The KPTA hold monthly meetings in the school staffroom and extend a warm welcome to anyone who wishes to come along.

Current Office holders are:

Justine Street & Megan Kernohan (Co-Chairs),

Wendy Grimstone (Secretary)

Katrina James (Treasurer).
